The company, originally known as Staco Switch, began its focus on lighted pushbutton display switches, which remains one of the world's greatest providers of these products. The Staco Systems product suite has since expanded into rugged keyboards and custom input devices and keypads, sub-systems, and light panel assemblies for Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets worldwide.

Staco Systems headquarters is located in Irvine, California, in a newly remodeled 42,000 sq. ft., ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 facility.
