- Build talent pipelines supporting welding, fitting, fabrication, metal prep, machine operation and other critical production positions.
- Capture and track prospects generated through workforce-development activities and transition qualified candidates into the formal Recruiting process.

- Partner with HR and Operations to identify current and future skilled-labor requirements.
- Identify critical skill gaps, workforce vulnerabilities and positions with inadequate qualified backup coverage.
- Track workforce metrics including training progression, time-to-competency, retention, qualifications and external pipeline activity.
- Maintain a monthly Workforce Development Dashboard for HR and Operations leadership.

- Coordinate structured 30/60/90-day development checkpoints for production employees.
- Ensure new hires are assigned appropriate trainers or mentors.
- Track employee development and identify individuals requiring additional training or support.
- Monitor new-hire retention and identify trends by position, department, shift and workforce source.
- Partner with HR and Operations to address development concerns before they become preventable turnover.
Career Development
- Support defined career pathways for critical manufacturing disciplines.
- Identify employees for additional training, certification and cross-training.
- Coordinate apprenticeship and technical-development opportunities within the facility
- Track internal progression into higher-skilled positions.
- Build a relationship with Texas Workforce Commission, Technical Colleges and CTE schools specific to our needs. Identify workforce grants and training reimbursement opportunities where applicable
Minimum Job requirements:

- Strong Excel, reporting and data-tracking skills; HRIS, ATS or LMS experience preferred.
Defining Success in this Role:
