ABOUT THE ROLE
Spinelli Kilcollin is seeking a Store Manager to lead our New York location, with full accountability for commercial performance, team development, store operations, and the client experience. This is a senior retail role for an entrepreneurial leader who combines strong business judgment with hands-on sales leadership and the elevated hospitality expected of a luxury jewelry house.
Partnering closely with the VP Global Retail, you will translate brand and business priorities into a clear plan for the location, build and coach a high-performing team, and grow a loyal client base in the New York market. You will be an active presence on the sales floor, developing relationships with high-value clients, setting the standard for service, and ensuring the store operates with care, consistency, and accountability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Commercial Performance and Business Leadership
- Own store revenue targets, selling KPIs, and client development goals; translate these into clear individual and team priorities.
- Develop and execute weekly and monthly action plans informed by sales trends, client activity, local opportunities, and business needs.
- Analyze conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and appointment performance to identify opportunities and guide coaching.
Client Development and Luxury Service
- Lead by example through active selling, expert product knowledge, thoughtful styling, and personalized service; cultivate and maintain your own client relationships.
- Build a clienteling culture rooted in long-term relationships, with clear expectations for personalized outreach, appointment generation, referrals, and consistent follow-through.
- Grow the store’s New York client base through relevant local relationships, community engagement, and opportunities to introduce new clients to the brand.
- Own escalated client concerns and complex requests, coordinating with internal teams to deliver thoughtful solutions and maintain trust.
Team Leadership and Development
- Set clear performance and service expectations; lead regular one-on-ones, floor coaching, and performance reviews, and address performance gaps promptly.
- Coach the team on selling, product knowledge, clienteling, and operational standards; develop key holders and associates for greater responsibility.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and thoughtful hospitality through consistent feedback and visible leadership.
- Own staffing, scheduling, and floor coverage to align service needs and business demand with labor priorities; partner with People team to resolve employee relations matters.
Store Operations and Brand Presentation
- Maintain inventory accuracy and strong controls for high-value merchandise, including stock counts, transfers, secure handling, and loss prevention.
- Ensure client orders, repairs, and service requests are tracked accurately and followed through in partnership with the appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation, and hospitality standards in partnership with the Creative team.
- Share client feedback, inventory needs, and local market insights with senior retail leadership; partner with fellow Store Managers to improve practices across the fleet.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of retail management experience, including 2+ years in luxury goods, fine jewelry, or a comparable premium category.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing repeat business in a clientele-driven environment.
- Experience coaching, and managing sales associates and key holders, with a demonstrated ability to improve performance and develop talent.
- Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to interpret selling metrics, identify opportunities, and turn insights into action.
- Strong command of POS systems, clienteling tools, inventory management software, and sales reporting; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions independently, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners.
- New York luxury retail experience and familiarity with the local client market preferred.
