Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Smilestones ABA, you will work directly with children receiving ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities include:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy
- Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
- Collect accurate session and behavioral data
- Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA
- Help clients develop communication, social, daily living, and other essential skills
- Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and families
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other members of the clinical team
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision
- Follow all clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality requirements
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed
- Dependable, professional, patient, and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in Center 7062 Lakeview Haven Dr Building B Suite 130, Houston, TX 77095
- Ability to meet applicable background check and employment requirements
