EM Assembler

We are currently seeking an EM Assembler to join our team in Englewood, Ohio. The EM Assembler is responsible for assembling and manufacturing of moderate to complex products and parts according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. - Verifies specifications by measuring completed component - Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. - Documents actions by completing production forms. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results - Performs sub-assembly operations - Utilizing prints and work instructions - Maintains workmanship standards - Follows material handling procedures - Work to production schedule and standards QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: - 1 to 2 years manufacturing assembly experience preferred - Solder experience on cable assemblies or circuit boards preferred - IPC certification preferred COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES: - Ability to use basic hand tools - Basic Math skills - Basic computer skills - Good communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation or standing at a workstation. - Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employees are required to wear safety equipment consisting of closed-toed shoes and safety glasses while on the production floor. This role primarily operates in a production environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
