POSITION SUMMARY As a Custodian, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and inviting environment for our members, guests, and staff. Every day, you'll help ensure our facility is ready to serve families and our community. Available Schedule We are currently hiring for the following consistent weekly schedule: Monday: 2:00 PM -- 10:00 PM Thursday: 2:00 PM -- 10:00 PM Friday: 2:00 PM -- 10:00 PM Saturday: 11:00 AM -- 7:00 PM Sunday: 11:00 AM -- 6:00 PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES All Custodians are expected to fulfill the following functions: - Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum throughout the facility - Clean restrooms, locker rooms, windows, mirrors, and common areas - Empty trash and recycling - Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies - Set up and take down tables and chairs for programs and events - Operate custodial equipment, including floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners - Help maintain the appearance and safety of the YMCA - Work as part of a team to ensure our members have an exceptional WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS ? Ability to safely and effectively perform necessary tasks ? Ability to work a night/evening and weekend shifts
