Back End Developer I – SEA804
Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and the .NET platform.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and architectural patterns, such as Clean Architecture.
- Support the development and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, including writing queries, stored procedures, and database updates.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues.
- Assist with deploying and supporting applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate application components.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers.
- Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications and development processes.
- Stay current on Microsoft technologies and software development best practices.
- Support existing applications by resolving bugs, implementing enhancements, and participating in production support when needed.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of:
- C#
- .NET (.NET Core/.NET 6+ preferred) [SM1.1]
- Entity Framework Core Fundamentals
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
- Basic knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
