CAREER TRACK Logistics Associate REPORTS TO Logistics Manager POSITION SUMMARY Under direct supervision, controls the flow of material through the logistics department. Responsible for the storage and distribution of WIP and finished goods in the Logistics Department. PREREQUISITES · Safety training including training in the importance of machine guarding and safety equipment. · Knowledge of the lock out/tag out procedure. · Knowledge and application of plant and environmental safety concepts. · Support Seaway's emphasis of the team concept. · Proper lifting techniques. · Orientation. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Meets or exceeds department productivity expectations. 2. Able to set up and operate packaging lines. 3. Remains flexible regarding job assignments. 4. Operates Plex for daily operations. 5. Learns and follows all processes and work instructions that pertain to the packaging area including bin cleaning and station cleaning to ensure that we do not mix parts. 6. Removes finished goods from the audit area and stores in designated area. 7. Resp
