Description Crane Operator
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment efficiently and safely on various construction sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes and other heavy lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Inspect cranes before each shift to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Coordinate with site managers, signalers, and other team members to execute lifting plans
- Load and unload materials, machinery, and supplies accurately and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or malfunctions immediately
- Assist with setup and dismantling of crane equipment as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Valid crane operator certification/license as required by local regulations
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lifting plans
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle demanding work conditions
