Special Education Paraprofessionals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NH Paraeducator - II certification or eligibility required
- General understanding of public school education and the responsibilities to every child
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with ease and flexibility
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with student matters
The positions are 6.5 hours per day, following the school year calendar and PD days (178 days). Pay range is $21.84 to $24.19 per hour based on prior work experience. 94.9% cost coverage for 2 person or individual health plans and 92.2% cost coverage for family health plan. Full coverage for single plan for dental and ability to purchase family plan. Long Term Disability Insurance. Professional Days and $300 annually to attend workshops. REPORTS TO: Principal and/or Director of Student Services, and supervising teacher(s)
JOB GOAL: To provide support to students to enhance access to the general education curriculum, working under the direction of certified professional staff.
