Riverwood Healthcare Center in Northern Minnesota is a clinic and hospital system that is recognized on both the state and national level for clinical excellence. Riverwood has been nationally recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital five times.

State-of-the-art emergency care is available 24/7 with a dedicated emergency care physician on site at all times. The hospital has Level 3 Trauma Care and Comprehensive Advanced Life Support designations. For rapid air ambulance transport, we have an on-site helipad.

Our 25-bed hospital with all single-occupancy patient rooms offers a unique healing environment. The private birthing center has three spacious suites with sofa sleepers, whirlpool tub and other amenities.

Three primary care clinics in Aitkin, Garrison and McGregor offer access to a wide range of experienced family practice and internal medicine doctors, nurse practitioners and advanced care practitioners. Urgent Care is available at the Aitkin clinic, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
