Our client, a $750Million Community Bank, has asked us to assist in the search for a Commercial Lender to join their team in St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing of commercial loans, as well as maintaining and servicing a commercial loan portfolio. Represent the bank in its market area through active participation in community affairs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of credit and financial analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of financial institution and regulatory lending policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers.
- Good cross selling, management and organizational skills.
- Excellent credit management skills are represented by low delinquent loan percentages and the ability to solve problem credits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or related field.
- Demonstrate leadership and influence skills.
