Position Summary
RELYANT Global is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitor / Custodial Technician to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment while performing daily custodial duties efficiently and independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, fixtures, and equipment.
• Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or facility damage.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Perform additional custodial and general facility support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
