Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines
- Load raw materials and oversee production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of CNC machine operation experience (laser cutting experience preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of G-code is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
