Senior BAS Design Engineer | Remote. Join Our Client, an industry pioneer in hyperscale data centers! We seek a top engineer with 8+ years of BAS controls design experience in major platforms (ALC, JCI, Honeywell) to lead critical infrastructure. Shape the future with us!

responsibilities:
- Perform technical reviews of BAS vendor and integrator submittals, drawings, schematics, and sequences of operations for compliance with design standards.
- Validate controls hardware and network communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, MQTT) across DDC, PLC, and SCADA platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design gaps, RFIs, and field issues raised during submittal reviews.
- Author, maintain, and elevate design standards, guide specifications, templates, and reference designs for critical building automation.
- Develop complete BAS submittal packages using the same rigor as Our Client's EPMS submittals while providing technical guidance to junior controls engineers.
qualifications:
8+ years of BAS controls design experience, with demonstrated expertise in producing complete BAS design packages.
In-depth technical experience with major BAS manufacturer platforms such as ALC, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar industry-leading platforms.
Proven ability to operate independently at a senior level, set technical direction, and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
