We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented 2nd Shift Assemblers for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity at DENSO in Athens, TN. Successful candidates will have a clear pathway to full-time DENSO employment based on attendance, performance, and teamwork during the contract period. Key Responsibilities Assembly Operations: Perform repetitive assembly tasks on automotive components following precise standardized work instructions. Equipment Handling: Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and light industrial equipment safely. Quality Inspection: Visually inspect incoming materials and finished parts to maintain DENSO’s strict quality standards. Production Targets: Work efficiently within a team environment to meet hourly and daily production quotas. Workplace Safety & 5S: Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with plant safety protocols and 5S standards. Direct Hire Conversion Requirements Top performers are routinely converted to full-time DENSO employees. Key conversion criteria include: Attendance: Outstanding punctuality and minimal unscheduled absences during the temp period. Work Ethic: commitment to quality, safety, and team collaboration. Performance: Consistently meeting standard cycle times and production goals. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Previous manufacturing, assembly, or fast-paced warehouse experience is preferred, but entry-level applicants with mechanical aptitude are welcome. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs continuously over an 8-to-10-hour shift. Good visual acuity, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Screening: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Compensation & Agency Benefits Competitive hourly rate with guaranteed 2nd shift differential.
