We are seeking a skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery. In this role, you will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform routine preventative maintenance, support automated systems (including PLCs and VFDs), and partner with technical teams to ensure maximum plant uptime and safety compliance. Responsibilities
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (will be some on-call days which comes with on-call pay diff)
Pay: $30hr - $35hr ($62,400 - $72,800)
Responsibilities:
- Multidisciplinary Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and replace worn or defective electrical and mechanical components - such as AC/DC motors, pumps, drives, valves, and sensors - across industrial production equipment.
- Industrial Automation & Diagnostics: Diagnose automated machinery malfunctions using precision test tools, schematics, and wiring diagrams, working directly with PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and HMIs.
- Fluid Power & Mechanical Systems: Maintain, service, and rebuild complex pneumatic and hydraulic systems, utilizing fabrication and welding skills as needed to maintain operational uptime.
- Preventative Maintenance & CMMS Documentation: Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance routines, log all work orders and equipment histories into a CMMS, and assist with parts/supply inventory.
- System Installation, Upgrades & Safety Compliance: Partner with engineering teams to install and commission new electromechanical machinery in strict accordance with OSHA standards, electrical codes, and plant safety regulations.
