We are looking for a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running at peak performance.
salary: $52,000 - $70,000 per year shift: First work hours: 2:30 PM - 1 AM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled (PM) and emergency repairs on production, packaging, and robotic machinery to minimize downtime.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Installation & Testing: Assemble and calibrate new equipment; interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe workspace by following OSHA/EPA guidelines, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and 5S standards.
- Facility & Shop Support: Perform general facility repairs (plumbing, structural) and use machine shop tools to fabricate simple repair parts.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial vehicles like forklifts, boom lifts, and pallet jacks.
- Documentation: Accurately complete work orders and track parts inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 10 hours at one time
- working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
