They are a precision sheet metal job shop, making products for a variety of industries, including restaurant equipment, glove boxes for labs, large units used to sanitize wheel chairs( the machines that make those little "all in one" checks in their own envelopes) and grocery store shelving. Qualified candidates will have experience operating a CNC Laser machine - sheet metal fabrication(Amada machines would be idea, but if you have other similar equipment experience, please still apply. Responsibilities
- Experience operating CNC lasers (company has Amada lasers in their shop, but even if you have used non-Amada equipment, the skills will transfer).
-Will operate a forklift as there will be material handling in this role.
-The laser operators are tasked with unloading the deliveries of sheet metal, putting the skids up on the storage racks, moving the pallets from the racks to the loader/unloaders on the laser machiens, and moving pallets of finished parts to other areas of the facility.
-Experience with CNC Laser/Punch combo would be considered as well.
-Client is open to interviewing candidates with solid material handling skills, but limited CNC laser operation experience, though some exposure to CNC lasers or punch/laser combos is ideal to be successful.
