Are you detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to start a rewarding career in Quality Control? Food Specialties warehouse in Bay Shore is growing, and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our Quality Assurance team!
Whether you are looking to take your first steps into quality control or want to build your foundation to become a QC expert, this is a great entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
salary: $17 - $18.99 per hour shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality and safety checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Inspect product packaging, labeling, and seals to ensure compliance with company and food safety standards.
- Monitor processing temperatures, weights, and production parameters.
- Record accurate inspection data and maintain daily QC logs.
- Report any product defects or food safety deviations immediately to supervisors.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment .
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
