In this role, there is zero cold calling. You will handle inbound inquiries from prospective customers, assess their connectivity needs, and deliver honest, consultative advice to get them connected with the right service plan.
⏰ Choose Your 4-Hour Shift (Only 1 Spot Per Shift!) Work a schedule tailored to your life. Once a shift is claimed, it’s gone:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- ☀️ Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- ️ Shift 3: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Shift 4: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
✨ What You’ll Do
- Handle Inbound Calls: Speak with prospective customers looking for reliable internet solutions.
- Consult & Qualify: Assess customer location, usage requirements, and expectations to determine if Hughesnet is the best fit - always prioritizing honest guidance.
- Present Solutions: Walk customers through product features, plans, equipment, and promotional offers.
- Accurate Order Entry: Navigate internal ordering systems to accurately set up new customer accounts and schedule installations.
- Hit Performance Targets: Work toward individual conversion and quality benchmarks in a supportive, performance-focused environment.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, call centers, telesales, or retail sales.
- Proficient verbal communication skills and a natural talent for building quick rapport.
- High attention to detail when inputting customer records and orders.
- Comfortable multitasking across multiple software tools and screens.
