Quick Dropped Logistics, Inc. is seeking dependable, safety-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team in Dothan, Alabama. We are an independent service provider operating within the FedEx Ground network.
Our drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and commercial customers along assigned routes while providing professional customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate a company-provided step van or delivery vehicle.
Report to the FedEx Ground terminal in Dothan, Alabama to begin the workday.
Load, organize, transport, and unload packages throughout the workday.
Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations along an assigned route.
Complete multiple delivery stops safely and efficiently while meeting required service commitments.
Properly scan and handle packages according to established procedures.
Follow all company, FedEx Ground, DOT, traffic, and safety requirements.
Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report safety or mechanical concerns.
Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers.
Fuel and properly secure the company vehicle at the completion of the route.
Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must:
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Have a satisfactory driving record and meet applicable driver qualification requirements.
Be able to safely operate a commercial-style delivery vehicle/step van.
Be able to repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the workday.
Be able to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
Be comfortable performing a physically active job that includes lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and repeatedly climbing in and out of a delivery vehicle.
Be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and self-motivated.
Be able to work independently and follow an assigned delivery route.
Be available to work weekends as scheduled.
Successfully complete all required driver qualification steps, including applicable background screening, driving record review, and physical/medical qualification requirements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Previous package delivery, courier, commercial driving, step van, cargo van, or similar delivery experience is preferred. Candidates with strong driving experience and the ability to meet all qualification requirements are also encouraged to apply.
SCHEDULE
Full-time/ Part-time
Approximately 8-10 hours per day depending on package volume, assigned route, and route completion
Weekend availability required
Schedule may vary based on operational needs
COMPENSATION
Training Pay: $85 per day
Starting Pay After Training: $150 per day
Paid weekly
Company-provided delivery vehicle
Company-paid fuel
Opportunities for increased compensation may be available based on experience, performance, reliability, and operational needs.
