PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local wholesale food distributor to find a dedicated, detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join their facility team! Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize, and restock facility restrooms, break rooms, offices, and administrative spaces on a routine schedule.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate commercial cleaning equipment, such as electric floor scrubbers, across all facility areas.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness by clearing trash, sweeping under storage racks, and keeping the mandatory 18-inch perimeter border clear.
- Perform regular exterior upkeep, including picking up grounds litter, emptying outdoor trash cans, and maintaining smoking areas.
- Wipe down warehouse racks in all departments and monitor rodent control traps in accordance with food safety standards.
- Continually restock hygiene supplies, empty trash receptacles, and safely dispose of waste in designated facility dumpsters.
- Strictly follow company work and safety rules, food facility cleanliness protocols, and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate vacuum cleaners and electric floor scrubbing equipment.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English clearly.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach overhead continuously for periods of two hours or more.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperature extremes (warm warehouse and cold/refrigerated storage areas).
- Willingness and ability to complete equipment operator training and certification within 30 days of hire.
- Flexible schedule availability to accommodate early shifts, staying late, and weekend work based on operational requirements.
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
