In this role, you will support overall production and manufacturing operations by operating sit-down forklifts, handling raw materials, and conducting quality checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift & Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts to load and transport raw materials, staging them for production lines and machinery.
- Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow supervisor instructions.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and work closely with team members to meet daily production targets. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Measurement Mastery: Detailed, practical understanding of both standard (inches/fractions) and metric measurement systems.
- Proven Track Record: Reliable work history in manufacturing, production, carpentry, or related hands-on fields.
- Forklift Experience: Hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts in an industrial setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move with ease for the entire duration of the shift, and lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and safely.
- Attention to Detail: High precision when measuring, operating machinery, and inspecting for product defects.
