JobSummary We are seeking an dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator with experience moving fragile equipment to join our client's warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to safely load, unload, move, and stack materials or products throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proven track record of safe machinery operation, and experience safely handling sensitive and fragile products
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate Sit-Down forklifts to transport materials.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently unload incoming shipments and load outbound freight onto trailers.
- Inventory & Staging: Move pulled orders or raw materials to designated staging areas or production lines.
- Equipment Handling: Safely move sensitive, delicate items with forklift without damage.y.
- Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections, report mechanical issues immediately, and strictly follow all facility safety and OSHA regulations.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse work environment.
Qualifications & Skill
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience operating a sitdown fork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience: Proven experience safely handling delicate and fragile equipment by forklift within a warehouse environment
- Experience: Proven experience operating Heavy Duty Forklifts and Equipment is a strong plus
- Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience handling solar panels, renewable energy equipment, or large-scale fragile logistics is a strong plus.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a strong plus
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory tracking tools and barcode scanners is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, sit or stand for long periods, and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Soft Skills: High reliability, great communication skills, and an emphasis on personal and team safety Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
