The Opportunity: Master the Full Cycle As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be the engine of the Accounting department. You won't just "input data" - you will manage the full lifecycle of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Process vendor invoices with precision, ensuring proper line-item classifications and authorizations.
- Financial Execution: Generate checks and prepare Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) to keep the business moving.
- Strategic Oversight: Monitor AP aging reports to ensure timely payments and proactively resolve overdue invoices with department managers.
- Record Integrity: Reconcile processed payments and maintain meticulous digital and physical files.
- Vendor Diplomacy: Act as a key point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies with professionalism and speed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, hands-on experience in Full-Cycle Accounts Payable.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in accounting software and a "mastery" mindset toward accuracy.
- Detail Obsessed: You take pride in finding the small errors that others miss.
- Master of GAAP: A solid foundation in accounting principles and standard procedures.
