Prenuvo Screening Staffing Solutions LLC in Redwood City, CA seeks Staff Engineer.
Responsibilities
: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure, production environments, and pipelines to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient processing of large volumes of data in production environments. Duties include: implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to track performance, health and reliability; optimizing data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability; implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes; maintaining documentation and lineage tracking for all data flows; researching current trends in data engineering to guide evolution of data technology stack; mentoring data engineers; and other duties as assigned.
Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Redwood City, CA.
Education
:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements
: Five (5) years of experience in job offered or related. Other special requirements include: Five (5) years of experience working with Python or similar programming language in a data engineering environment; Five (5) years of experience using modern databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, or related; Five (5) years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; Five (5) years of experience using data storage and processing services such as S3, BigQuery, or Redshift; and Four (4) years of experience in team leading strong data engineers.
Rate of Pay
: $205,000 - $245,000
