We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Lead Machinist with the right attitude to manage our precision CNC Milling area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising CNC machinists, programming and setting up CNC Mills, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Mazatrol controls, CNC programming, machine setup, blueprint reading, GD&T, and advanced inspection. If you are a motivated manufacturing professional who enjoys leading teams and producing high-quality parts, we want to hear from you.Experience and skill considered in Final Wage determination.What Youll Do Lead, mentor, and train a team of CNC Mill Operators and Machinists Plan and coordinate daily machining activities to meet production schedules Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mazatrol controls and CAM software Set up CNC Mills, select tooling, establish offsets, and verify first-piece quality Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer requirements Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues to minimize downtime Perform routine machine maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives Maintain production, quality, and inspection records Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environmentQualifications 5 + years of advanced CNC Mills Experience in a precision machining environment. Ability to perform tool selection, work holding, programming, and op sequencing for new jobs Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting Experience running CMM programs and setting up jobs for inspection Experience performing advanced manual inspections with familiarity with all hard gauging types Expert level in G-Gode, Mazatrol, or other CAM platforms.
