Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Yelm, WA | 2026–2027 School Year
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an in-person, school-based position in Yelm, Washington. This district-wide role supports K–12 students and includes supervision of Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs). Job Highlights:

- Caseload: K–12 students across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Design and monitor strategies that support student behavior, communication, and independence
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions
- Supervise BSAs and provide guidance on implementing behavior support plans
- Train and collaborate with school staff to promote consistent, effective student support
- Partner with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and participate in team meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Washington State behavior analyst license, or willingness to obtain it
- OSPI fingerprint clearance, or willingness to complete fingerprinting
- Experience supporting school-aged students preferred
- Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and using data to guide interventions
- Strong supervision, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to provide all services and supervision in person
- Ability to support students and staff across multiple school sites
- Ability to complete required district onboarding and background checks
