Job description:
Job Summary:Plum Creek is seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of MIG welders on a production line.
Duties:
- Manage employees perform welding tasks- Manage the use of hand tools and welding equipment- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets specifications- Work with sheet metal, tubing a channel
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role- Basic understanding of MIG welding techniques- Ability to read and interpret spec books
- Ability to read a tape measure- Experience working with hand tools- Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lead a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
