Original job description

Overview

You’re the kind of person who doesn’t need to be told twice. You know how to trench, terminate, and test without cutting corners. At Pioneer Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, we’re looking for generator installers who can do the job right, stay safe, and finish strong.

If you're ready to get paid well to build something that actually works when it matters, you’ve come to the right place.

What You’ll Get:

· Guaranteed weekly pay with the opportunity to make $100,000+ per year.

· $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid out over first 90 days)

· Paid holidays, vacation time, parental leave, and training opportunities.

· Medical, dental, vision, prescription, and group life insurance.

· 401(k) with match and an HSA to keep your future on track.

· Company vehicle, gas card, uniform, phone, and tablet.

· Top Tech perks, including gift cards, prizes, lunches, and paid experiences.

· Referral bonuses, employee discounts, and an employee relief fund for when life throws you a curveball.

What You’ll Do:

· Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, and circuits, including trenching and underground work.

· Test newly-installed generators to ensure proper function and resolve issues on the spot.

· Document your work in our trade software, ServiceTitan, to keep your day running smooth.

· Pursue certifications if needed – we invest in people who are willing to invest in themselves.

· Own your route and represent Pioneer with professionalism.

What You’ll Bring:

· Valid tech ID with Generac (preferred).

· Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, without being micromanaged.

· Commitment to personal growth, ownership, and being part of a winning team.

What Makes Us Different:

This isn’t a job for clock-punchers. There’s a reason our generator installers are some of the highest-paid in the Nashville market – a fact we take great pride in. Pioneer is where tradespeople come to build careers, achieve financial freedom, and be part of a no-drama team that doesn’t half-ass anything.

We don’t babysit. We don’t do red tape. We don’t burn people out. What we do is back each other up, take responsibility, and get the job done right the first time.

We live by a set of values we call GRIT:

· Growth – We embrace discomfort and get better every day.

· Respect – We treat people right, period.

· Integrity – We own our work, keep our word, and do what’s right – even when it’s hard.

· Team – We back each other up in moments of success and adversity.

Trust Your Career to Pioneer!

A generator is only as good as the installer who wired it, and we’re building a reputation for getting it done right the first time. When you work here, you’re not just installing equipment – you’re building value and trust. And we’ll return the favor with a team that’s got your back and a company that pays what you’re worth. Apply today and let’s power up your future.
