Our team works closely with neighboring Pieper Veterinary hospitals and the Specialty & Emergency team in Middletown, creating a collaborative environment focused on providing exceptional patient care and client service.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the daily hospital operation, supporting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, treatments, examinations, and client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes initiative, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Whether you're helping patients feel comfortable during their visit, assisting with treatments, or supporting the veterinary team throughout the day, your work will have a direct impact on the care we provide.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of Veterinary Assistant or veterinary hospital experience
- Experience handling and restraining animals safely and confidently
- Ability to work independently and take initiative throughout the day
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Availability to work every Saturday
- Must be at least 18 years of age
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a general practice veterinary hospital
- Experience assisting with patient treatments and examinations
- Experience supporting Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians during procedures
- Familiarity with EzyVet or similar veterinary practice management software
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
- Experience maintaining treatment and examination areas
- Interest in continuing education and professional development
