Pieper Veterinary is a Connecticut-based network of emergency, specialty, and primary care hospitals rooted in a legacy of compassionate care and clinical leadership. Today, Pieper Veterinary serves as the Connecticut regional network of COVE Animal Health - a veterinarian-led platform founded by Pieper’s sibling leadership team, Tessa Olson, MBA, and Ben Olson, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology). Together, they continue the family tradition of advancing veterinary care, building on the vision of their parents, Dr. Robert Olson and Dr. Virginia Nunez.
Our hospitals operate under a hub-and-spoke model, with a 24/7 emergency and specialty center in Middletown and a growing network of connected general practices across the state. Whether treating a critical case or providing lifelong wellness care, we’re united by a shared mission: to deliver thoughtful, high-quality medicine that strengthens the human-animal bond.
