Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Laborer:
- Perform restoration and clean-up activities, including demolition, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning, and deodorization
- Handle storm clean-up, such as debris removal, general cleaning, and demolition of affected areas
- Set up site protection, including protective shoe covers and floor mats
- Perform interior and exterior painting, finishing, light repairs, and specialized cleaning as needed
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and facilities
- Ensure work is completed according to the supervisor's specifications
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly
- Opens, closes, stacks, moves, organizes waste containers as directed
- Loads and unloads trailers using forklifts, manual drum dollies, pallet jacks, or other equipment, and other conveyances, moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck, etc
- Use a hand shovel and rake to keep yard level, mixing sludges or liquids, etc.

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Previous forklift training a plus
- Knowledge of pumps, air compressor, and other industrial equipment is a plus
- Position consists of standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting containers weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as outdoor tools, shovels, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, etc
- Work is primarily performed outdoors, but may also be performed in a warehouse or on a truck dock. Work is often performed in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions
- Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is provided and mandatory, where required
- Background check and drug tets required
