Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Technician I to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install and service security equipment such as:
- Access control systems
- CCTV/video surveillance cameras
- Intrusion alarm systems
- Intercom systems
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Test equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Run and terminate cabling.
- Document service work and system changes.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards.
- Assist senior technicians on larger projects.
- Basic electrical and low-voltage wiring knowledge
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Computer and networking fundamentals
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Good communication and customer service skills
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or vocational education preferred
- Low-voltage, alarm, or security industry certifications are a plus
- This position requires regular driving to customer and project sites. A valid driver’s license is required.
The hourly pay range for this position is $XX.XX–$YY.YY per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
