PART-TIME EVENING CUSTODIAN

- Location: Recreation Center & City Facilities
- Schedule: Evening hours (10–15 hours/week, includes weekends)
- Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Union
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain facilities including restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces
- Sanitize rooms and refill supplies
- Perform event set-ups and take-downs
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness
- Perform light maintenance tasks
- Follow safety procedures and report issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Custodial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Standing, walking, bending for extended periods
Additional Requirements
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening required
- Medical physical may be required
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $30.88 after 12 months
- IMRF not applicable
