Job Summary:
The Medical Assembler packages, assembles, cleans, kits, ships and/or stocks products in accordance with P&F standards and customer specifications with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Medical Assembler consist of but are not limited to:
- Operate a forklift.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Comply with all quality policies and goals.
- Follow documented procedures and standards.
- Proper hand counting and the use of the ERP system to accurately enter both good and scrap quantities.
- Pay close attention to details including chips, cracks, missing features and discoloration. An ability to work well with hands on small parts is a must.
- Perform visual inspection of parts and materials.
- Tumble, clean and package products for shipping.
- Mix and monitor solutions for tanks used for product cleaning.
- Ensure cleanliness of tanks used for product cleaning.
- Proper disposal of hazardous waste.
- Light assembly and preparation for product finishing processes.
- Escalate issues to management as needed.
- Independently manages and maintains workflow and priority requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
- All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.
