JOB SUMMARY At Koala Insulation of Raleigh, we are looking for a motivated, skilled individual who is eager to develop and apply their skills to make a positive impact on our communities. This position is expected to consistently perform high-quality insulation in attics and crawlspaces, identify and correct spray foam issues, and provide all services skillfully, on time, and with friendly communication. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Safety: Adheres to jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational and health and safety laws. Ensures that the rig is safely driven to jobsite locations. 2. Operations: Removes and installs insulation based on specifications of each job. Follows standard operating procedures with equipment set up and operation. Completes high-quality work while maintaining efficiency. Possesses working knowledge of all types of insulation installation (blown-in, spray foam, and batts) and consistently performs quality checks. 3. Technical: Diagnoses and resolves field issues clearly alongside the Crew Leader and is able to document issues and resolution when necessary. 4. Customer Service: Communicates professionally with customers. Maintains a professional image and thoroughly cleans the job site upon completion. 5. Other: Continuously improves customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Provides instruction and training to junior team members. Communicates any issues to the Crew Leader promptly. Performs other related duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES Experience with construction basics and familiarity with insulation Ability to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain equipment such as company vehicles and insulation or weatherization equipment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a team Ability to speak and write in English EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or a related field preferred Prior insulation experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling Working environment may include high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently WHAT WE OFFER A team that respects your time, values your skills, and supports each other Opportunity to grow with a company that's in it for the long haul Competitive wages: $20hr starting pay depending on experience Potential to earn incentives based on performance
