Job description: Carpenter Pay Range: $19.23 - $26.44 We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3--5 years of carpentry experience and a strong background in residential construction and remodeling. This role involves working on a variety of projects and requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Duties - Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. - Perform tasks related to siding installation and roofing repairs. - Fabricate wooden structures based on project specifications. - Engage in concrete forming and masonry work as needed. - Participate in remodeling projects, enhancing existing structures to meet client needs. - Conduct construction painting as part of finishing processes. - Use mobile app to follow project checklists, complete tasks, and submit daily log entries. - Understand and follow written and verbal instructions; communicate clearly with trade partners and co-workers. - Interact in a professional and respectful manner with clients, vendors, and fellow team members. - Arrive on time to assigned job sites with reliable transportation. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or a closely related construction trade is required. - Strong working knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, including framing, siding, roofing, masonry, finishing, and quality control. - Familiarity with construction practices, procedures, tools, materials, and specifications. - Proficient in using hand and power tools with attention to detail and safety. - Ability to problem-solve and work both independently and as part of a team. - Demonstrated commitment to job site safety and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical Requirements - Ability to climb extension ladders and work on roofs. - Ability to work with tools, lumber, and construction materials. - Ability to lift and manipulate tools and materials, often weighing 50 lbs or more. - Capable of performing tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments, during all seasons and weather conditions.
