About the Role:
At Onyx Care of Natchitoches, we take a patient-centered approach and provide personalized care. Our compassionate staff and innovative technology mean that our patients receive exceptional post-acute rehabilitation. As a Laundry Aid, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients by washing, drying, and ironing their laundry. You will work closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that all laundry is processed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, and iron patient laundry in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Sort and categorize laundry to ensure efficient processing
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Collaborate with housekeeping team to ensure all laundry is processed and delivered in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the facility
