Summary:
We are seeking a Substitute Custodian to join our team on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility during the absence of our regular custodial staff. Variable hours during the week, typically 2:30pm to 11pm or 9am to 5pm. Changes during the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and supervisors Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
