Position Overview Oasis at the Crescent is seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, attentive, and takes pride in keeping others safe.
Responsibilities
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- De-escalate situations in a professional manner
- Enforce visitor policies and facility procedures
- Monitor security systems (cameras, alarms)
- Document incidents and maintain accurate daily reports
- Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed
- Support emergency procedures when required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and patrol the facility for long periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds if necessary (e.g., assisting with emergency evacuations).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, as required during shifts.
Qualifications
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- Strong communication and judgment skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Flexible availability
- Must meet all applicable state requirements for security personnel, including maintaining any required permits or certifications.

Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Pay Range: $17 – $25/hour (based on experience)
