Facility: Rehab and Nursing Center Position: RN Evening Supervisor Location: Hudson County, NJ Schedule: Full-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Salary: $105,000 annually
Join Our Team Our Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to provide strong clinical leadership and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to plan, develop, and oversee daily nursing operations in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Supervise nursing staff to ensure responsibilities are carried out effectively and residents receive exceptional care
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections as directed by administration
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of individualized care plans and discharge planning
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained for optimal patient care
- Conduct routine rounds to monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and report findings to leadership
- Address and escalate staff concerns, complaints, and grievances appropriately
- Welcome and assist new admissions, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition
- Accompany physicians during rounds as needed
- Oversee medication administration and treatments to ensure compliance with physician orders
- Provide direct patient care when necessary
- Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments
- Support performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active and valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care, subacute, or geriatric settings
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
- Current CPR certification
