The Northwood Fire Department is accepting applications for part-time firefighter/EMTs. Applicants must be able to work in hazardous conditions, perform EMT duties, and exercise sound judgment. Applicants must successfully complete a physical ability test, background check, and medical screening.
MINIMUM LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- State of Ohio Firefighter I
- State of Ohio EMT
- State of Ohio Driver's License
Shifts are 12 or 24 hours, with a maximum of 120 hours per month.
COMPENSATION:
- Firefighter/EMT - $23.26/hour
- Firefighter/Advanced EMT - $24.42/hour
- Firefighter/Paramedic - $ 25.64/hour
