About Northwest Frozen
Northwest Frozen is a multi-brand frozen food manufacturer that is growing fast, with viral products including Crunchy Sushi for the air fryer. We have plants in Des Moines, WA and Vancouver, BC. This job is at our Des Moines, WA plant.
Pay and Schedule
- $20.00/hr starting
- Time-and-a-half overtime at $30.00/hr
- 2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- 50-60 hours per week with overtime
- Estimated $1,100-$1,400 per week gross at 50-60 hours (estimate only: 40 hours at $20.00/hr plus 10-20 overtime hours at $30.00/hr)
Your Path
Strong performers may be selected for training as Maintenance Technicians, learning LOTO (lockout/tagout), preventive maintenance, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. Selection is based on performance and is not guaranteed for every employee.
What You'll Do
- Set up, run, and adjust production and packaging equipment
- Perform quality, weight, and metal-detector checks, and complete production records
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP in our FSSC 22000 certified plant
- Handle changeovers and cleaning, and report equipment problems
What We're Looking For
- No experience needed
- Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand for long shifts
- Able to work in cold and freezer areas
