We believe in building strong, compassionate, and vibrant communities where all people have an opportunity to participate, contribute and provide for themselves and their loved ones.

NCO provides early childhood development and family resiliency services, adult caregiver support, robust case management and resource referral, and programs that increase access to affordable childcare, safe recreation, healthy food, secure housing, and leadership training.

We are the largest non-governmental agency in Lake and Mendocino Counties providing emergency preparedness and fire response services. Our Volunteer Network program spans 6 counties and provides opportunities for adults to get involved in their communities. We facilitate cooperation and partnerships among organizations and groups that share a common goal with us.
