Our culture is built on values in action: Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership, and Leadership. We work together to win, grow, and make a real impact - supported by a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you can be your best, every day.
Summary:
The Post Production Manager leads assigned post-production projects across photography, video, motion graphics, AI-assisted content, and CGI, while managing and developing a small team of post-production artists. The role drives day-to-day execution, schedule visibility, communication, quality control, and team performance within established Studio workflows. Broader capacity, resource allocation, prioritization, scope, budget, and operating-model decisions are escalated to the Sr. Manager, Studio Services. Success requires strong project management, technical workflow fluency, proactive communication, and organized execution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assigned Projects, Scheduling & Escalation
- Lead assigned projects from post-production intake through final delivery; confirm scope, materials, priority assets, deadlines, review expectations, and delivery requirements before work begins.
- Manage multiple project schedules, track status and turnaround in Workfront, Frame.io, or similar tools, document follow-ups, and communicate timing changes, delivery risks, bottlenecks, and hot jobs promptly.
- Coordinate assigned artists, editors, photographers, motion/CGI contributors, freelancers, and vendors against confirmed project requirements; ensure contributors receive the correct assets, feedback, due dates, and handoff information.
- Partner with producers and Studio managers to assess schedule impacts, recommend realistic delivery adjustments, and provide workload/capacity visibility; escalate broader resourcing, scope, budget, priority, and staffing decisions to Studio leadership.
People Leadership & Team Development
- Manage, coach, and support assigned post-production team members; set expectations for quality, communication, organization, delivery, and adherence to established Studio standards.
- Coordinate day-to-day work based on confirmed project priorities and Studio production leadership direction; help direct reports navigate competing assignments and escalate workload conflicts.
- Provide regular performance feedback, support onboarding and professional development, and foster a collaborative, accountable, solutions-focused team environment.
Quality Control & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Reinforce established QC standards; review technical accuracy, brand and creative alignment, file quality, naming, export/delivery specifications, and readiness across photo, video, motion, AI, and CGI outputs.
- Confirm channel-specific requirements for social, web, eCommerce, paid media, campaign, internal, and corporate use; balance quality, speed, approved scope, and business needs.
- Ensure feedback is organized and actionable; clarify review ownership, approvals, priority deliverables, and final delivery expectations with Studio, Design, Brand, Marketing, eCommerce, Corporate Communications, and external partners.
- Serve as a key contact for assigned post-production execution and status, proactively communicating risks, changes, and follow-through while escalating decisions outside the role’s authority.
Files, Assets & Technical Workflow
- Follow and reinforce established server, folder structure, archiving, version control, file naming, and metadata standards so working files, review files, and final deliverables are organized, accessible, and reusable.
- Partner with Digital Asset Coordinators on metadata, DAM readiness, final uploads, and asset handoff; maintain consistent practices across photo, video, motion, AI, and CGI content.
- Support video and motion post workflows including rough cuts, revisions, color, audio, graphics, exports, versioning, and final delivery; coordinate effectively with editors, retouchers, photographers, and CGI partners.
AI & Continuous Improvement
- Support AI-assisted post workflows with appropriate human review, brand accuracy, and quality control; stay current with emerging creative tools, automation, and review platforms.
- Identify repeat-work and workflow friction; contribute practical ideas involving AI, templates, technology, and process improvements for Studio leadership to evaluate and approve.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in post-production, creative operations, photo/video production, Studio production, project management, or a related creative production role.
- Strong project management experience across multiple fast-paced creative projects, including schedules, contributors, status reporting, deadlines, and risk escalation.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or directly managing creative or post-production team members; excellent communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Working understanding of photography, video, motion graphics, AI-assisted, and CGI post workflows, including editing, color, sound, exports, versioning, and quality standards.
- Experience with Workfront, Frame.io, or similar tools; strong knowledge of server/folder organization, file naming, version control, metadata, and final asset delivery.
- Ability to partner with creative, Design, Brand, production, and external vendor teams, manage urgency thoughtfully, and protect quality and team sustainability.
- AI fluency or demonstrated curiosity and practical experience with AI-enabled creative or post-production workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with consumer goods, retail, eCommerce, social, marketing, campaign, or corporate content and freelance post-production partners.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom), DaVinci Resolve, DAM systems, and metadata/asset handoff.
- Exposure to CGI/3D, AI image/video tools, automation, and emerging production technology.
- Experience maintaining workflow documentation and project reporting; proactive in identifying process improvements and supporting implementation of approved changes.
