Job Description
We are looking for a senior-level Marketing Manager to own and grow our marketing programs. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a highly creative marketer who can generate original ideas, set direction, and then personally execute by writing, designing, building, publishing, coordinating, and measuring the work. You will develop campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue, strengthen customer retention, and raise brand awareness for a highly technical portfolio of cybersecurity and managed technology services. Working side by side with Sales, Customer Success, executives, and technical teams, you will turn complex services and expertise into clear, compelling market-facing programs and content.
What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy & Financial Management
• Integrated Strategy: Develop and execute an end-to-end marketing strategy that directly supports corporate revenue targets, client retention goals, and brand positioning.
• Budget & ROI Ownership: Manage the annual marketing budget, oversee forecasting, research and select vendors/external design agencies, and track event-generated pipeline to report on ROI.
• KPI Accountability: Analyze and report on core marketing KPIs, including pipeline contribution, lead quality, conversion rates, and brand reach, continually optimizing tactics based on data.
Technical Content & Sales Enablement
• Messaging Translation: Translate complex technical solutions (including managed security, compliance, penetration testing, and cloud infrastructure) into clear value propositions for executive and technical buyers.
• Collateral Creation: Personally write, edit, design, and produce high-impact sales and marketing assets, including one-pagers, white papers, case studies, presentation decks, solution briefs, and maturity models, while coordinating SME review and outside creative support when needed.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner directly with Sales and Customer Success to build robust enablement resources, identify asset gaps, and support both lead generation and client renewal goals.
Campaign & Digital Marketing Execution
• Multi-Channel Campaigns: Plan and personally execute integrated campaigns across email, web, social media, events, and partner channels. Write copy, build and test emails and landing pages, manage audience segmentation and workflows in Salesforce and Pardot, launch campaigns, and optimize performance.
• Website, Creative & Social Media: Maintain the quality, accuracy, visual design, and conversion performance of Neovera’s website and digital presence. Make routine front-end updates, create landing pages and graphics, manage brand standards across collateral, and write and publish executive and corporate social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.
• Thought Leadership, PR & Communications: Build Neovera’s visibility and credibility by developing an editorial calendar, interviewing internal experts, and personally drafting articles, contributed bylines, executive social posts, speaking abstracts, presentations, newsletters, and other market-facing content. Develop trusted, responsive relationships with reporters, editors, analysts, and industry influencers. Proactively pursue speaking engagements, podcasts, awards, and trade-media opportunities; respond rapidly to media requests and breaking news opportunities; coordinate media outreach and public relations; and prepare Neovera’s subject-matter experts to provide timely, compelling commentary and succeed in external appearances.
Events & Creative Brand Execution
• Trade Shows & Events: Select, administer, and attend trade shows, conferences, webinars, dinners, and roundtables from initial evaluation through post-event follow-up. Manage sponsorships and contracts, registrations, travel, schedules, booth staffing, catering, promotional items, speaker submissions, and on-site execution, stepping in directly wherever needed.
• Creative Production & Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent, professional visual identity across the website, presentations, sales collateral, campaigns, and event materials. Create and revise everyday assets directly, while managing outside designers and production vendors for specialized work such as booth graphics, displays, video, printing, and complex design projects.
• Lead Monetization: Systematize post-event data capture by formatting and uploading lead lists into Salesforce with accurate campaign attribution, scores, and proactive sales follow-up tracking.
Marketing Operations & Communications
• Inbound & Administrative Ops: Monitor central inquiry channels, route incoming web leads to appropriate sales representatives, and rapidly coordinate urgent, cross-functional executive deliverables.
• Internal Communications: Direct internal company culture initiatives, including compiling the staff newsletter and producing the quarterly All-Staff presentation, driving the meeting agenda as MC.
Qualifications
Required
• 8+ years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a manager-level or senior individual-contributor role.
• Proven experience marketing highly technical products or services, ideally in cybersecurity, cloud computing, IT services, or government and defense technology.
• Track record of campaigns that measurably increased revenue, customer retention, and brand awareness.
• Experience managing a significant marketing budget and multiple concurrent projects on tight deadlines.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work with engineers, sales teams, and executives.
• Exceptional creativity and a demonstrated ability to generate original campaign concepts, compelling stories, and distinctive ways to present technical ideas. Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with strong visual judgment and exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated willingness and ability to personally create the deliverables, not simply direct agencies or manage others who do.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred
• Experience in both small, fast-moving companies and large, complex organizations.
• Background in B2B marketing, account-based marketing, and channel or partner programs.
• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot or Salesforce) and web analytics.
• Experience supporting regulated or security-conscious customers (for example, federal, financial, or healthcare).
