Job Title: Shipping Loader Operator Location: Sand and Gravel Mining Operation - Texas Position Overview: We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Shipping Loader Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader to load customer trucks and maintain proper stockpiles at our sand and gravel mining site. Key Responsibilities: - Operate a front-end loader to load sand, gravel, and aggregate products into customer trucks in a safe and efficient manner. - Ensure proper product type and quantity are loaded according to customer orders. - Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or mechanical issues immediately. - Maintain stockpiles, loadout areas, and the yard in an organized and safe condition. - Communicate clearly with scale house, truck drivers, and other team members to ensure smooth shipping operations. - Follow all company safety policies, traffic rules, and operational procedures. - Assist with general site duties as needed. Requirements: - Previous experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate. - Strong commitment to working safely at all times. - Punctuality and good attendance are required. - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment. - Must be dependable, self-motivated, and a team player. - Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to the job site. Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit for long periods while operating equipment. - Ability to climb in and out of heavy equipment safely. - Must be able to work in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment.
