About the Role:
As a CNA at Munster Med-Inn, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Assisting with mealtime and feeding patients as needed
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control practices
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and respect by promoting a positive and supportive environment
- Participate in patient education and support, as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations
- Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Indiana
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
